Thank you!

Thank you so much for completing the survey. It’s so powerful for leaders to hear from their school community. Whether you are a new classroom teacher or a seasoned midday supervisor, a sub-contracted sports coach or a job-sharing head of department, we want your views to be heard.

What happens next?

Your responses contribute to the survey report that is generated when the survey ends. The report will be shared with the leader(s) who set up the survey.

We encourage leaders to talk about survey results with their staff and share what the next steps might be, and how they relate to the current school improvement priorities where relevant.

What happens with my data?

Responses are not attributed to individuals (and all respondents have followed the same generic link), so your answers are anonymous.

The exception to this is if you have chosen to answer a question that could identify you (for example, selecting a role choice of ‘middle leader’ if you are the only middle leader in your school), or if you have chosen to provide identifying information in an open response question.

If you have any feedback on the survey process, or issues that it raised, please talk to your line manager or a senior leader.

We love asking questions! Would you like some more?

Here at School Surveys, our vision is shared jointly with Teacher Tapp, the organisation behind the platform:

Our vision is for a world where every decision in education has the voices of those on the ground at the heart of it.

We do this via our School Surveys platform for school leaders, and also by running a free daily surveying app for all people working in schools. It’s called Teacher Tapp and can be downloaded from your app store.

Although it was set up with teachers in mind, ALL people working in schools are welcome to download the app and answer the questions (and see the answers!). When a question feels less relevant to your particular role, feel free to answer ‘N/A’.

By taking part, you help the media, government and organisations working in education understand what the reality of school life is like.

Our insights in the news

Our findings regularly feature in national newspapers and on television and radio, and are often referenced in government reviews and white papers. They also help education companies develop their support for schools.

Here are a few examples:

Do you want regular insights?

Tappers get a daily dose in the app – every day the results to the questions from the previous day’s questions are displayed, so you can see how your responses compare.

And you can find masses more findings on the Teacher Tapp blog.
