Making sense of the results
Once your survey is closed, you will receive a report with the results.
The first page will provide a summary of the questions and how many respondents answered. The report also provides a short description of the national benchmarks we have used to compare against your school’s responses.
In the report, each page will show the results to one question.
The first question we ask is a mandatory question about overall happiness at work or school. This question is asked in every survey. You will be able to see the results of repeated questions to monitor the impact of any changes in school. You can see an example of this below.
The responses are sometimes split between teachers and support staff. This is only done if we have received five or more responses for support staff. You can see an example of this below.
For pupil or parent surveys, we can also split the responses across year groups as shown below.
For open-ended questions, you will see all the answers your respondents have given in a list as in the example below.
Please note: If your survey has no responses, a report will not be available.
